Hobby Master HA3710 1:72 McDonnell F-101B Voodoo 58-0339, Oregon ANG, 123rd FIS, 1970s.
The McDonnell F-101 Voodoo (nicknamed One-oh-Wonder") first flew in September 1954 with the first production F-101A making its first operational flight in May 1957. In September 1957 the F-101C became operational followed by the F-101B in January 1959. When production ended 807 Voodoos had been created, 480 of them were the two-seat all-weather interceptor F-101Bs. The RF-101 reconnaissance version was the world’s first supersonic photo-recon aircraft. The only major foreign operator of the Voodoo was the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) that acquired 56 CF-101B and 10 CF-101F.
The Oregon ANG 123rd FIS/ 142nd FW was formed on July 30, 1940 as the 123rd
Observation Squadron and allocated to the Oregon Air National Guard. On April 18, 1941 the unit was activated and was operational throughout WWII and the Korean War. On November 1, 1952 was released from active duty and returned to the ORANG. In 1972 the 142nd FW began to receive the F-101B Voodoo and operated them until 1981 when 58-0339 was sent to AMARC then preserved at Hill AFB, Utah for a short time before being scrapped in 1987.

All Pre-Orders will be shipped out within 2 business days of MTS receiving the item. The shipping cost will be calculated based on the current rates at the time of shipment.
Please exercise caution when removing your items from the packaging. Diecast models are very delicate. Propellers, antennas, and canopies will break easily if not handled with care. MTS inspects all items for damage prior to shipment. If you receive a damaged item, please contact MTS within 7 days of the shipping date at 937-320-1428 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, we will determine if a claim needs to be filed with the shipping company.
If you would like to return or exchange an undamaged item, please contact MTS within 14 days of the shipping date at 937-320-1428 or email email@example.com to start the return process. Once your item is returned to us, it will be inspected to ensure it is returned to us in a salable condition in the complete original packaging. You will receive a full refund for the item purchased but the original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Local Pickup is available Monday thru Saturday 11am-4:30pm. All orders placed by 1pm will be available for same day pickup. An email will be sent to you when your order is ready for pickup. If you prefer to meet us curbside, please call MTS at 937-320-1428 upon your arrival to the shop.
