The narrow-bodied Airbus A320 has a twin-engine and was designed for short and medium haul flights. As the widest single-aisle cabin in the sky, it is the aircraft of choice for many airlines. This airliner included several innovations: it was the first aircraft with a glass cockpit and a fully-digital fly-by-wire flight control system, was the first commercial airliner to have side joy-stick controls, and one of the first to use composite materials in its build. The injection-molded plastic airplane model is approximately 14 1/2 inches long with a 13 1/2 inch wingspan. It includes a wood stand and landing gear, adding to its authenticity.
