Herpa Wings presents the Qantas Airbus A350-1000ULR for Project Sunrise in 1:200 scale as item 574327, registered VH-OJA "Vega". It is the first of twelve ultra long range A350s that will link Australia's east coast nonstop with London and New York. An extra 20,000 liter fuel tank allows flights of up to 22 hours. The name honors Qantas's wartime Double Sunrise flights, which lasted long enough to see two sunrises. This plastic collector model arrives ahead of the planned 2027 entry into service.
