Tarmac Designs captures the Billings Logan International Airport control tower in exacting 1:400 scale. Completed in 2005 at 120 feet, the tower replaced the original structure that had guided generations of aircraft over Montana's big sky. BIL sits atop the Rimrocks — a 500-foot cliff overlooking the Yellowstone Valley — one of the most striking airport settings in the American West.

The airport traces its roots to a $5,000 investment by the Billings City Council in 1927 and today handles roughly 241 aircraft operations a day as the gateway to Yellowstone Country and the Beartooth Mountains. A perfect centerpiece for Montana, Western, or Rocky Mountain airport layouts.
