Tarmac Designs 1:400 Boise Airport ATC Tower (BOI)
Tarmac Designs 1:400 Boise Airport ATC Tower (BOI) Airport Accessory
Tarmac Designs renders the Boise Airport control tower in exacting 1:400 scale — the tallest structure in the state of Idaho and the tallest ATC tower in the Pacific Northwest. Completed by the FAA in 2013 at 290 feet, the cast-in-place concrete tower replaced a 65-foot structure dating to 1975 and houses the TRACON facility that works approach control for both Boise and Bozeman, Montana. This 3D-printed replica captures the tower's bold, slender silhouette with remarkable precision.
Boise Air Terminal/Gowen Field is a joint civil-military facility and home to the National Interagency Fire Center, making it one of the most operationally distinctive airports in the American West. A standout centerpiece for any Western or joint-use airport display.
